Hampshire HistBites: Uncovering the History Beneath Our Feet

Nicky Gottlieb and Becky Brown, founders of Hampshire HistBites, discuss Winchester Heritage Open Days as well as the origin and structure of HistBites, our brand new heritage and history podcast channel.

They also mention some of the podcasts we have scheduled for the weeks ahead. From the local origins of the English language, and the intricate pages of a 15th century prayer book, to the King Alfred buses that travelled the streets of Winchester, this podcast channel starts as it means to go on; discovering Hampshire’s unique history.

We do hope you enjoy our introductory episode and can't wait to share with you our next podcast on Wednesday 26th August featuring the incredible William Walker.
