Leigh Park then and now Come and explore maps to discover whether your road was part of Sir George Staunton's huge estate in the 19th century!
The Staunton Country Park Heritage Hub have been investigating the local area of Leigh Park and the 19th century estate may of influence the estate we see today.
The exhibition will be on display will be available from the Coach House reception for the duration of the festival. Members from the Hub will be on site during the weekend of 14-15 September to answer any questions or if you wish to share your own history with the estate.

Travelling by Car - For easy parking please use our main car park (Petersfield Road), parking charges apply via the pay stations at the end of your visit (card payments only). Travelling by bus- There is a bus stop located outside the park gates on Middle Park Way, buses run from Havant Bus Station (Buses 20, 21).
Additional Information
The exhibition will be held in the coach house, flooring can be uneven due to the nature and age of the building. Access to the coach house is via our flat gravel path works from the car park to the Coach House.
