Romsey Signal Box - a Working Museum, with hands-on activities for everyone.
Romsey Signal Box has been preserved and restored to full operational order. We encourage people of all ages and interests to attend, including accompanied children. During HODs 2024, the signal box will be open for one day, when it will be operated on a full-timetable as if in operation in the past. Visitors will be invited to get involved, pulling levers connected to signals outside, ringing bells, and assisting with the operation.
There are also other displays and attractions, including a miniature signal box in operation, a garden railway, and a new Discovery Centre with a number of hands-on activities for children of all ages. There is a cafe serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, and light snacks.
