Heritage Open Days Nicky Gottlieb, Laraine Roe (competition winner), Mr Monopoly and Becky BrownWe love competitions so much that we ran two competitions in 2017. Congratulations again to Laraine Roe for winning the Monopoly Winchester Edition and to Daniel Wieczorkowski for winning our photography competition with his fabulous shot of Alwarene Street in Winchester. In 2018 we will probably run even more. We have already launched our first competition of the year. Young artists and wordsmiths from primary schools with a SO postcode in the Winchester district have been invited to submit via their school an original piece of art or writing for our ‘Extraordinary Women’ Exhibition. This public exhibition is being held in early September at The Great Hall in Winchester. For more details on this new and exciting primary schools competition click here.
